Summer String Academy

Hone Your Skills, Have a Blast!

In its seventh year, String Academy is a venue for budding musicians to hone their orchestral talent during this week-long camp full of individual and group musical training and some traditional camp activities. Students will have a chance to work with professional string teachers, make friends, sing outrageous camp songs, and play fun games in our beautiful canyon.

We have had the joy of working with Chase and Christi Chang as our SSA directors. You can find out more about them, our other instructors, audition times, and more at the dedicated Summer String Academy website.

Please note that Summer String Academy is a secular camp. There will be no religious activities or influences from staff. Lazy F Camp and the United Methodist Church provide the venue and means for all students to have a full and well-rounded musical experience.
